The 100 Season 4, Doctor Who and Supernatural Season 12

TV series are vital for our lives and entertainment on weekends. Whenever we wish to spend a cozy evening with beer or coke in front of the TV or a computer screen, we start looking for a descent show to get enjoyment from the acting and the catchy storyline. Today’s series are extremely popular among millions of viewers. Well, let’s review The 100 Season 4, Doctor Who and Supernatural Season 12.

The 100 has already passed through 3 successful seasons and is getting ready for the premiere of the 4^th one. That’s a sci-fi post-apocalyptic action series. The first episode of it was released in March of 2014. The series is partially based on a series of novels with the same title written by Kass Morgan. The 100 concentrated out attention on a group of teenagers that get back to Earth after nuclear apocalypse. They are a hundred of people first to step on a devastated planet. There’s only one insignificant detail – all of the teens are juvenile prisoners with different past and different attitude to life itself and to other people. The series was prolonged in March of this year. The 100 Season 4 will consist of 13 episodes. The exact release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Doctor Who is a British sci-fi TV series. That’s one of the oldest cult projects ever created. It’s been aired since 1963 by BBC. The main character is the Doctor himself. He’s a humanoid alien able to travel through time. He uses TARDIS – a sort of a spaceship to travel through time that looks like a police box (such boxes were actively used in Britain of 1963). The Doctor deals with a number of foes helping people in need and saving humans from massive threats. Originally, the show starts in 1963 and finished in 1989 (26 seasons). Then BBC made several attempts to get the series back on TV and even released a film in 1996. In 2005, Russell T Davies relaunched Doctor Who. It passed through 9 more seasons and developed a number of spin-offs. Doctor Who Season 10 is now in the process of filming. It’s planned to be released in April of 2017, however, this date is not certain.

The next series is not as old as Doctor Who, but for quite a short period of time it managed to become cult too. The curious fact here is that Supernatural had been through 10 years of development before it was released. That’s a horror fantasy TV series with a lot of action and drama elements. It’s about two brothers named Sam and Dean Winchester. Their mission is to hunt mysterious monsters, ghosts and different supernatural creatures. The series was mostly filmed in Canada. The storyline was logically finished in the 5^th season. However, it was prolonged for several more seasons. With 11 seasons released, Supernatural becomes the longest fantasy series ever created in North America. It was renewed for the 12^th season. Supernatural Season 12 is planned to be released on the 13^th of October 2016.

Most part of series you watch has been in development for many years. Some of them started long before you were born. For some reasons these series manage to stay popular for decades of years. It’s cause they are perfect for all generations.
